Artist in Residence
Ich werde im September und Oktober eine zweimonatige Residency in Finnland verbringen. Mitten in der Natur, im Landstrich Hämeenkyrö. Sie nennen sich "the most international artist residency in Finland". Ich bin sehr gespannt. Und ja, ich werde Mückenschutz mitnehmen.

Mein erster Film!
FRANK
Jan Wiese und ich haben einen 21-minütigen Film gemacht. Innerhalb einer Woche im Rahmen des Solaris Projekts mit den Teilnehmern als Protagonisten: 3 Tage drehen, 4 Tage schneiden.
Nach einer Pause und etwas Abstand werden wir die Idee weiterverfolgen und dann sieht der Film am Ende vielleicht ganz anders aus. Trotzdem - hier als Preview, der "Solaris-Cut":

BDI’s purpose is to accumulate a selection of specific communications. It contains a repository of works, networks and documentation from international artists, critics and persons supportive of the BDI directive within Turkey.
On one hand BDI engages practice, positions and modes which can be ascribed as part of the art operating system. On the other, BDI attempts to observe and moderate the upcoming movements in the fields of socio-cooperative action relative to the current art matrix.
BDI’s programming is without parameter. Exhibition, screening, lecture, performance, and public presentation will all focus toward contact and engagement.
BDI will release what transpires in Karaköy, by way of sequencing reviews, documentation, and publication produced via a self-critical way of initiating an idea.
BLACK DOOR ISTANBUL attempts to be transparent about it´s own circumstances and will manifest as a physical space for an initial three month period.
