last update: 9 Juni 2020
I got selected for the 2 months long Ankara Queer Art Residency Program, YEY! Instead of going to Ankara though, the residency will be held from my Home Office. A weird situation for a residency that aims at the exact opposite than staying at home but hey, it's a pandemic! I'll keep you posted and think of ways to make my home more - eh - elsewhere.
working on publications on Year of the Women* and Curatorial Activism & Care Curating
I'm currently doing a three year course of study on biography work
with an eclectic group of 35 teachers, doctors, healers, social workers, philosophers, etc.
currently supporting a big community / rural development project in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
Neubau, Tucké Royales first feature film, premiered at the 41. Max Ophüls Price and won Best Fiction Feature Film 2020 and Award For Socially Relevant Film 2020 for script and lead role. SMU supported the project and I am very happy to be part of it as a member of the queer hologram family, touring Brandenburg with 50 other queerdoes.
YEY to Neue Selbstverständlichkeit!

I've got re-elected as member of the Board of Directors at Schwules Museum for another two years.
This is a volunteer position and the 8 members of the board work as the executive directors of the institution, mainly responsible for the strategic planning, the programming of exhibitions and events, finance, communication and human resources. The SMU is the world's largest museum and archive for LGBTIQA+ art, history and culture and has around 80 staff members.
