Aktion und Konzeptionierung der Plattform, 2013
ART ON DEMAND (AOD) ist ein kollaboratives, partizipatorisches Projekt. Sein primäres Ziel ist es, Kunst wieder zugänglich zu machen, es aus den gewohnten Ausstellungsräumen zu holen, intime, sinnvolle und eindringliche Erfahrungen zu schaffen.
Das Projekt startete in einer Residency in einer kleinen finnischen Gemeinde. Die Leute kamen nicht mehr zu den Ausstellungen, somit beschlossen wir, die aktuellen Residents, die Kunst zu den Leuten nach Hause zu bringen. Wir erfanden einen Bestellservice, die Kunden konnten ihre Wahl treffen und wir fuhren quer durch die Gemeinde zu ihnen. Es enstanden magische, lustige, tiefsinnige, besondere Momente des Austauschs mit viel Dankbarkeit auf beiden Seiten.
AOD möchte eine in internationales Netzwerk werden, in dem über Zugänglichkeit, Wert, ökonomische Zwänge und Intimität von Kunst diskutiert und gearbeitet wird.
Aufgrund der Eingebundenheit in andere Projekte haben wir die Plattform bis jetzt noch nicht weiter voran getrieben.
ART ON DEMAND

ART ON DEMAND (AOD) is a collaborative participatory project. Its primary aim is to make art accessible by taking it out of the expected exhibition spaces and bringing it to targeted (private) spaces, creating tailor-made works that are intimate, useful and immersive.
The project started in a residency in Finland where people did not come anymore to the openings of the residency in the little village of Haukijärvi. We, the current residents, decided to bring the art to the people instead. We invented a delivery menue and people could call to order their specific art work. We toured around the municipality to serve our services. We had magic, funny, deep, special moments of exchange, paired with a lot of thankfulness on both sides.
AOD is interested in creating an international network of artists that will perform, interact and write about accessibility, value, economics and intimacy.
Due to our involvement in other projects we haven't taken on the platform further but might do in the future.
